the original of it never rains is a gouache painting. Long ago, it was said that it never rains in the bustling city that this piece comes from. However, that land was overtaken by the sea many years ago. 
Beams of kelp sprout up from the long submerged roads. On multiple occasions, deep sea divers have sworn to have seen strange phenomena in the flooded remains. Water spirits, strange figures, and even cars driving along the ocean floor.
